PLEASE NOTE: AT THIS TIME I AM ONLY OFFERING VIRTUAL TELETHERAPY SESSIONS
"We know what we are, but not what we may be" – Ophelia in Hamlet
I believe pain is a universal language. We all hurt. We hurt for different reason and in different ways.
But, above all, I believe healing and light can come from even the darkest of situations.
I help uncover how your past and present relationships affect how you view yourself, others and the world you live in. By learning how relationships influence your well-being, you can learn how to relate to yourself and others in a more adaptive and healthy way.
I work with adolescents, adults and older individuals from all backgrounds. I am skilled in working with traumatic stress, and have extensive experience in working with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma, as well as religion-based traumas. I also specialize in complicated grief and loss, mood disorders, living with HIV/AIDS or other chronic illnesses, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships.
During our initial evaluation we will talk about why you are interested in starting therapy. If I am not the therapist for you, I will gladly refer you to someone who will be a good fit.
